• BASE PLATE: S12 Duraflex Blue - The standard snowboard base plate is made of a single layer with the same material and stiffness throughout. Union's new two-layer base plate design allows for two individual layers: core and frame. Each layer has the ability to use a unique material and stiffness to achieve the desired riding feel of the binding.
• BASE LAYER: Direct Connect MD Core An all-new binding base core, the Direct Connect Mini Disk is stiff and reactive. This binding layer enables the fastest possible energy transfer from rider to board that Union has ever achieved. Made of eco-friendly Duraflex Blue.
• BASE FRAME: Asymmetrical Halo Base Frame The asymmetrical Halo base frame is softer and more flexible than our traditional bases, allowing for a unique new riding feel and increased side-to-side flexibility, adding to the freestyle feel of the binding. The frame also plays a key role in connecting the core of the base plate, bottom cushion, heel and ankle and toe straps. Made of eco-friendly material - Duraflex Blue.
• AMORTIZATION: Asym Molecular Bushing Molecular cushions are more durable and more cushioning than traditional thermo-molded EVA foams. They act as a suspension system between the base board and the top layer of the board to help reduce vibrations caused by hard snow. The all-new asymmetrical shape of the cushions allows for increased freestyle flexibility and natural internal referral while riding.
• HIGHBACK: Asym Forged Hybrid Highback Eco-friendly Duraflex Blue and Italian Forged Carbon fiber are combined to create a flex profile that works perfectly with Travis Rice's aggressive, stylish ride. The stiff and reactive carbon fiber core allows for instant edge control, while the nylon frame provides flexibility and freestyle comfort. The updated asymmetrical shape follows the natural angle of the leg for a more anatomical fit and flexibility. 10% lighter than the previous generation of Falcor skates.

The Hybrid 1.0 Ankle Strap combines a responsive Exoframe outer structure with comfortable and flexible inner strap padding. The all-new V-shaped cutout shape allows the rider to tighten the strap firmly without eye-popping pressure points. Lightweight, durable and extremely comfortable, the Hybrid 1.0 ankle strap has quickly become a favorite of new Union riders.
