C Knit™ also slims down the classic membrane by some 10%, making it lighter and definitely more comfortable to wear. It is also softer. The TDS® Inf jacket is made with one of Volcom's most technologically advanced systems, the TDS® INFRARED - Thermal Defense System. This system regulates the body's thermal insulation by using three-layer special reheating panels in the jacket's lining in the parts of the torso that are most vulnerable to hypothermia. This makes it a super comfortable option for the harshest weather conditions. It is equipped with all technological conveniences such as the Zip Tech® system, Face Tech™, insulated Lycra® cuffs and, waterproof YKK®, Recco® zippers.
