The history of SK8MAFIA brand is distinct from the one of other American brands. It has no professionals or much cash input. Dan Conelly, during his studies at the Art Institute of California in San Diego, received a home assignment to develop a project related to his passion. Dan met with his pal Peter Smolik and their established two things. Namely, they loved riding so this should be a skateboarding brand, and they wished the brand resembled a mafia, impossible to leave and binding people for life. Thanks to their project, they completed the studies and their idea was turned into a brand recognizable worldwide. We know the rest, which means great decks, excellent hardware, and even better artwork.
