Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co. is an American company founded in 1904 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by Frank P. Mitchell and Charles M. Ness, as Mitchell & Ness Sporting Goods. Initially they specialized in the production of tennis rackets, and in 1933 the company began supplying with equipment the team entering NFL: Philadelphia Eagles. In the early 40s the Philadelphia Phillies started using their equipment as well. In 1999, M & N began working with the NBA, releasing collections of costumes from past years, called Hardwood Classics. A year later the same series called Throwback Collection, has been released for the NFL, and in 2002 - for the NHL. Mitchell & Ness is one of the oldest sports brand, which supports all sports league in the United States.
Recently snapped up baseball caps, snapback type, which were especially popular in the '90s, were produced just by Mitchell & Ness company.
