• With a legendary status as a conqueror of every terrain and too many accolades to list them all, Black Snowboard Of Death has been constantly transformed and modified in the pursuit of excellence. The one element that has remained unchanged over the years is the name itself. The Black Snowboard Of Death is supercharged with an ultralight THERMOPOLYMER HOVER CORE™, which, combined with additional carbon pads under the binding - CARBON FLEECE POWER SHIELD™ and CARBONFLAX™ AMPLIFIERS reinforcement, accelerate energy transfer to the edge. CAPiTA The Black Snowboard Of Death is a gently wider board, so it flows well in fresh snow, but with a more heavily indented DEATH GRIP™ curve - an inverted sidecut in the center section - it allows for instant transition into fast turns. With its well-balanced directional shape and powerful construction, this purpose-built rocket vehicle delivers incredible control - making you a better snowboarder in variable terrain and variable conditions. This season, THE BSOD has been accelerated with the new super-fast and sintered HYPERDRIVE™ ADV XT BASE slide, which is supported by the MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™ slide structure, which is additionally responsible for water drainage and accelerates the board even more. The slide is thicker than the previous version for increased durability.

This allows plenty of pop and stability on hard snow, while increasing carry and landing power, expanding the rider's capabilities in deep snow. The camber is longer in the tail - providing extra power on the approach or for larger riders looking for a wider board.
• CORE: Thermopolymer Hover Core™ Extremely lightweight and versatile core with high impact resistance and maximum pop. A hybrid core! A combination of extremely lightweight paulownia wood, with superbly energy returning poplar. SUPER CARBON was added to the wooden base along with inserts made of recycled plastic. The combination of these materials gives excellent energy distribution to the edge, great vibration absorption and amazing pop!

• 4 x 25mm CARBONFLAX™ AMPLIFIER - is a new generation of natural flax fiber spliced with carbon fiber, used in our premium snowboard constructions. This tape combines the best features of both materials: the reactive energy of carbon and the lightweight and dampening properties of flax. The two fibers are highly compatible because they have similar properties regarding thermal expansion and tensile strength, creating a uniform reinforcement that is light, resilient and durable at the same time.
• SKINLESS™ CORE ASH WOODGRAIN TOPSHEET - A specially treated top layer of pure wood veneer with a unique tactile texture, 220 grams lighter than those obtained by the standard process.
• INLAID ALLOY NOSE + TAIL SKID PLATE Additional reinforcement of the ends of the board, ultralight to further offset the weight.
• FIBERGLASS: HOLYSHEET™ TRI/TRI FIBERGLASS Triple weave fiberglass on both sides of the core for better vibration absorption and energy transfer to the edge.

The sintered material has a patented composition and is incredibly fast and, this year, additionally thicker for increased durability.
