Puma

It was 1924, when two brothers, Rudolf and Adolf Dassler, decided to found a shoe factory in a tiny town of Herzogenaurach near Nuremberg. The first manufacturing line was erected in a laundry owned by their mother. Thanks to a good quality of materials, they soon earned enough to have two large factories and over 100 workers. In 1948, the brothers quarreled and their professional paths split. They probably quarreled about their political affinities, but there are many theories. The older, Adolf, founded Adidas brand, well known to everyone. The younger followed in his brother’s footsteps and called his brand RUDA which did not turn out to be a good choice. The idea of a leaping animal logo and PUMA name appeared only in 1979. >From the very beginning, the brand supported the best sportspeople, e.g. Pele, Euzebio or Maradona. Their first football boots called SUPER ATOM became a global hit. At present, thanks to cooperation with Rihanna or an artist known as The Weekend, PUMA has been one of sneaker sector leaders. And such models as Clyde, Disc or Fenty collection are dreamt of by sneakerheads worldwide.
