DC was founded in 1994 in Carlsbad, California, by three passionate individuals: Damon Way, Ken Block (who tragically passed away in 2023), and Clayton Blehm. The name "DC" originated from their earlier brand, Droors Clothing, and later evolved into what we now know as a true icon in the skate and snow world.
From the beginning, DC focused on footwear and apparel that not only looked good but met the real demands of board sports. Designed by riders for riders, DC products are known for their durability, comfort, and functionality – appreciated by pros and amateurs alike.
