Jones bindings with Skate-Tech technology are designed to provide lightning-fast response and superior comfort. The new Meteorite bindings are designed for all-mountain racers who want stable and comfortable bindings with medium flex, the Meteorite provides precise response thanks to Skate-tech technology, which transfers energy directly to the edges of the board. The Dynamic Flex spoon is stiff in the center for solid support and softer on the sides for friendly maneuverability. The Meteorite can be set in Surf or Freeride mode by changing the pads and swapping out the Flip-It mid-foot straps. Surf mode offers more freedom in powder while Freeride mode ensures maximum stability and the binding's response to the rider's control impulses. To ensure ideal boot hold, this model features new molded, wide and asymmetrical Power Ankle Straps for greater comfort and proper response. The low-profile 3D Flex Fit 2.0 toe straps are flexible enough to adjust perfectly to the shape of any snowboard boot.
• Skate Tech Technology - The Skate Tech system acts like a skateboard truck and improves board control. It also reduces foot fatigue by transferring energy directly from the bindings to the edges of the board through a dynamic design.
• Hanger 2.0 base - a nylon base with 30% fiberglass content. The Hanger rotates on the kingpin like a lever, allowing instant energy transfer from edge to edge. A superb solution that provides the most consistent flex of all bindings on the market.
• Two sets of shims of different hardness included, for freeride and sur (sold separately).
• Asym Buckles - all-new, impact-resistant buckles made of aluminum alloy, equipped with ultra-strong levers and springs. A three-stage ratchet reduces the time to clip in and out of the bindings.
• Flushcup technology - provides the ability to surf freely without a spoon in deep powder (sold separately).
• Foot pillow - Full-length EVA foam pad that maximizes binding comfort to minimize foot fatigue. The 3D molded surface of the foot pillow provides excellent traction for any type of boot sole and prevents snow accumulation.
• The midfoot straps - Power Ankle Straps, are made of durable molded ABS material, and are wide and asymmetrical for greater comfort and adjustable response. Compatible with Flip-It strap (Freeride mode + Surf mode).
• Smart mid-foot strap straps - these straps act as if they have hinges where they connect to the binding base, allowing the entire strap to pivot 180 degrees as a result, avoiding the frustrating stepping on the strap while clipping into the binding.
