O’Neill is the original Californian brand which produces clothing, accessories and equipment for surfers and snowboarders of all ages.
The company was established in 1952 in San Francisco.
After a few years its headquarters were moved to Santa Cruz.
The creator of the brand is Jack O’Neill, the inventor of the wetsuit, and his son Pat was the first person to come up with the idea of mounting a leash on a surfboard.
The logo of O’Neill is a breaking wave - a symbol of the brand’s surfing roots.
Today, O’Neill is supporting athletes around the world and runs many campaigns promoting natural environment protection, e.g. the “O’Neill Sea Odyssey”.
